What Does Your Session Fee Cover?
The session fee includes more than just the time we spend together during a meeting. Much of the work that supports your progress takes place before and after each meeting — often quietly, but always with care and intention.
Here’s what your fee helps make possible:
Before and around the session
- Time spent understanding your situation in depth
- Mapping your timeline and personal history
- Exploring family dynamics and intergenerational patterns
- Identifying root causes and active triggers
- Designing a personalised treatment plan: sequencing, coaching tasks, or integration work
- Clarifying your internal and external resources — what strengthens you, what you can draw on
Support between sessions
- Preparing grounding techniques and exercises tailored to you
- Teaching you practices that help regulate, stabilise, or integrate
- Offering psycho-education to help you better understand what’s happening and why
Professional care behind the scenes
- Taking your case to supervision (a service we pay for, to keep our work ethical and sharp)
- Consulting with each other to offer you the most coherent support
- Writing and reviewing session notes to track your process
- Responding to your messages or questions when needed
In short: while the session itself is central, a great deal of the therapeutic work is prepared around it — so that your time with us is focused, intentional, and truly yours.
