Dr Tamdin Sither Bradley – Tibetan Medicine in London
Dr Tamdin is the first Tibetan doctor to reside and practise in the UK. Trained at the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute in Dharamsala, she studied under the Dalai Lama’s personal physicians, the late Dr Tenzin Choedrak and Dr Kunga Gyurmey Nyerongshar, as well as Dr Pasang Y. Arya.
She is based in London, with clinics at the Kailash Centre and her private practice, and regularly sees patients in Brussels, Stockholm and Corsham.
Her book Principles of Tibetan Medicine offers an accessible introduction to this ancient healing tradition — covering its theory, history, diagnostic methods, treatments, and everyday health advice.
Rooted in over 2,500 years of practice, Tibetan medicine (‘Sowa-Rig-pa’, the science of healing) draws on Buddhist philosophy, astrological insight and a deep connection between body and mind — offering a gentle, holistic alternative to modern medicine.
